    Absolutely amazing work, thank you so much. I set up my mycodo environment and have the basics going in a test environment. Should be fully setup in a few days. Question - if you have grains going and also some bags in fruiting stage, do you use two incubation environments? One dark and set for optimal conditions for incubation and other with light and more air for the fruiting stage. Curious how you are doing that.

      You can colonize in a fruiting chamber, but you're taking up space that could be used for fruiting. It's all your choice whether you want to occupy the more expensive fruiting space for colonizing when you could set up a less expensive space strictly for colonizing.

    The pump is some arduino slave on I2C or something like that?

      Yes, it communicated via I2C, however since this build, I've added more generic output modules to the software to control generic DC motors, allowing users to use less expensive motors.

    Now let's calculate the price of the final product (plant) taking into account all the fancy gear and materials. I believe the system will be cost-effective somewhere on Mars or Antarctic stations only.

      It's obviously a small-scale prototype. Simply add more channels and a larger reservoir and ROI decreases exponentially.

      About once every harvest, which is a couple months.
